After being in French Polynesia for well over a year, SV Amanecer is scheduled to continue westbound this weekend, departing Saturday.
Due to ongoing COVID closures in the south Pacific nations, we are unfortunately not able to visit Niue, the Cook Islands, or Tonga among others. Instead the plan is to skip directly to Fiji. This is approximately a 1900 nautical mile trip from Tahiti (depending on weather route) and is expected to take 12-14 days.
